I have never had such an easy shoot!

I had such a great session this afternoon down at the beach.

S,S and little M were brilliant. They dressed so well, they were in love and happy and their baby!!! Let me tell you, this child was AMAZING. Everytime I said his name I got a big beaming smile. He waited with us patiently while the sun went down, and was just perfect. You have done something right there guys!

Thankss for ending my week on such a high, we got some fantastic shots, you should be proud of your little family, your all so cute together!!

Still fighting with mother nature!

Brisbane is having a doozy of a summer. We have had some mad storms almost every day! It is beautiful to watch, but playing havoc with my shoots!

I had a wonderful shoot on friday afternoon with *K, J and family* They braved the "what looked like" massive storm, to meet me at the beach. It was actually great weather for shooting, and they really took the effort to dress to impress!

Part of a sucessful portrait shoot is in the clothing choices. It makes a real difference to the final outcome if you take the time to read through the what to wear guide and also browse my blog or website for images which you think work well.

I have so many favorites from this session I want to show them all in my blog! I will narrow it down to 5 !

Thanks for braving the weather guys, i am glad you finally have some beautiful fmaily shots for your overseas relatives!

On a side note Poor *S* from Saturdays session was cancelled AGAIN due to storms. *S* I just know when we finally get our beach shoot it will be worth the wait!!

I had a 7.30 am shoot this morning - Yes that is dedication for you :)

This little guy was SO SO cute, oh my goodness he was funny. His little expressions and his gorgeous eyes. We all had a laugh and it was a fun and easy shoot.

Little run away!

We all got a work out trying to contain miss *S*. She was the most active little 12 month old I have ever shot. Most of my pictures today looked a lot like this first shot!

Luckily we got more than a few keepers. 12 months old is a tough age to photograph in studio, too young to bribe and too old to sit still haha :-)

Handsome little man

There is only one time in your life when you can suck your feet and get away with it, it is when you are 6 months old and as cute as *H*

He was amazing, happy and TOO cute!

We took to the streets for this big family shoot, there were kids, cars, changes of clothes, all happening inner city brisbane!

Fun, energetic and close, this family was a hoot to photograph and as you an see we got some fantastic shots of them all!!

Sunday morning on a farm

We spent early this morning doing a fmaily shoot on a local farm. This was take two for us due to the rain last week, and although this is  not my favorite time of the day to shoot ( brisbane sun is harsh untill after 3 pm!) We got some beauties!

*A* & *G* , we managed to get some amazing shots, and perhaps I might even try getting out and about early again !

It is FINALLY sunny again & I am looking for Models in Febuary!

I am playing catch up BIG time with my shoots. We have had a very bad week or two of storms and torential rain that has made me re schedule nearly all of the past two weeks shoots!

It is finally Sunny today, and I have  VERY busy week ahead of me!

..................Exciting news for me AGAIN!!

Ali Hohn from USA is coming over in febuary to mentor me in off camera flash work.

I will need some teen volunteers, aged 16-20  for when she comes, fresh faces please ! Also looking for a engaged couple- or a couple in love for some inner city nighttime shoots.

Not only is Ali coming over, but Leah Profancik from Mia Bella photography, is flying out from USA also ! She will be here to learn off camera flash work with Ali in my home. What a month that will be!!
