I am a very bad mother :)

I have a lovely  new lens, I am DYING to test it out properly. However I have taken 4 days off to catch up with editing and getting all the shots out ffrom Andrea's visit, so i have no clients to work with!

I decided my own son will do  ( the little cute one , and the big one can help me ) ..now they are both not talking to me :) and  here is why....

My obstacles -

My little boy was tired,

the ice cream shop was 10 mins from the place I wanted to shoot ,

it was windy , OHH my like hurricane windy!!,

the ice creams (I bought three just in case) were half melted over everyone and the car ( the dog loved it ) and they blew everywhere in the car park,

I made my son wear a hat, it blew into the ocean ( thats why he has his hand on his head for all my shots ,

he cried ,

His older brother was cranky I made him go with me and hold the ice creams...and well....it goes on

My good bits - I got ONE funny shot, and my dog is always well behaved Might try this again in summer and a little closer to the ice cream shop

Meet my beautiful assistant Marie and her gorgeous family

I bought a new lens today, so I decided to try it out on my ever patient and very wonderful personal assistant Marie.

This is her belated, thank you for working so hard for me, fathers day shoot.

Marie and David, thanks for eveything, I would quite possibly a little insane without your help.

A close fun family

This family was really fun. their children were so cute. Little *E* kept running from me, I had to bring out the balloons to bribe him :)

Newborn delight!

Ohh my what a gorgeous baby he was.

I did some shots for *L* as a maternity portfolio shoot when Andrea was here. I had the pleasure of doing her newnborn shoot this morning.

Little *E* was so cute, it took some convincing to go to sleep ( thanks to his baby whispering dad we managed to have him out like a light!)

We got some beautiful shots, he is pretty gorgeous huh?

Big news for wildspirit photography

 

..ANOTHER big name international photographer is coming to mentor me!! Leah profanick from Mia Bella photography in USA is arriving on October 18th!!

We are flying to New Zealand for a 3 day workshop in a historial park outside of christchurch. I can not wait for that! Rolling green hills..mositure!! :)  ohhhh so nice! Stay tuned for those sneak peeks Mid October in this blog.

We will be hostng three big shoots for Leah while she is here. One urban, inner city Brisbane shoot, a Trash the dress on Stradbroke Island, and a rural shoot. I will be emailing out soon asking for new models ( fresh faces please)

Exciting times ahead for my photography. It has been a fantastic year!!!

Brothers in arms

This gorgeous crew came this morning for a brotherly photoshoot. Little *R* was the perfect big brother and a credit to his mum, what a well behaved little boy he is!

The gorgeous chubby twins didn't like tummy time,so we tried to come up with some other poses for their session.

Three little sisters in new farm park

I had a lovely shoot this monring with three lively sisters and their fun easy going parents. The girls were all giggles and fun, and really held it together well for their family photo shoot!

Location shopping - looking for ideas!

I am out and about locations shopping for another international photographer who is coming to stay! ( more on this later)

I am looking for cool/different/rundown/rustic/abandonded/colourful locations that are not widely used ( ie botanical gardens :))

I am especially keen for an old farm with lots of interesting building ( and not too much machinery) or a really heavily graffitied run down place in brisbane within a one hour drive .
