Lovely little girls

We did a friday evening shoot with these lovely little girls, one of who was SO tired she kept falling asleep on us. Baby A did so well though, when  she was woken by the flash, she just kept on smiling!

Little B* was a star , a gorgeous big sister to darling tired *A* . B was so great, and loved it when I pulled out the petiskirt and red riding hood outfit! She looks to me like she has a career in the movies!

Meet *Q* , isn't she divine. The most delish blue eyes and such a lovely happy nature. I had a brilliant time photographing her for my portfolio today, I have two more shoots today of chubby bubs, so keep a look out for those posts too!

Looking for chubby bubs ages 6-9 months

I am looking to portfolio build in the age group 6-9 months. If you know anyone who has a ( preferably) chubby bub who is not walking and with limited crawling, I would love to do a portfolio shoot with you. In studio or outdoors. Baby must be able to sit up unassisted.

Ok here it is - my own turn in the hot seat

Like I said previously, I really wanted to learn what it was like to be in my clients shoes. To see what i could do better as a photographer, and also to see what was helpful/annoying etc about the process.

Lucikly for me a WONDERFUL photographer friend of mine Jen, wanted to learn studio lighting and boudoir posing!!! My hubby has kindly offered in the past, but lets just say, he is not the bext with angles!

Anyway, I bought out all my props, and used them on myself :) If any of you know me, you can see the results of the shoot , then the edit. I will be posting before and after shots on my lush website .

My very own boudoir session!

I had a boudoir photography session yesterday. I had a real desire to know how it feels for my clients to place that trust in me, and also what is helpful ( to hear etc) from the photographer during the sessions.

A photographer friend of mine from brisbane want to try out studio lighting and also see how she liked doing boudoir photography. We set about having a fun morning doing different shots and discussing lighting etc.

I plan to use some of the images on my website as a "before and after " section. I will put them up with a very normal photo ( un touched) of myself...that way people can see how they can look with a little lighting / angles / outfits / and editing :)
